The Exchange 60 Day Challenge: How much impact can you create?

The Ashoka U Exchange brings together a network of leaders for social innovation in higher education. These leaders are committed to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and changemakers who will be well equipped to leverage their talents and skills to help solve the most pressing challenges of our time.

After 2 days of networking and best practice sharing at Arizona State University, Ashoka U challenges the Exchange community to submit their stories of impact.

What are stories of impact? We want to know: Have you shared resources with colleagues? Proposed a new class? Sparked a partnership? Launched a social venture? Taken some other action because of the influence of a speaker, workshop leader, or fellow participant?

Stories of impact will be considered by:
(a) sharing what initial steps you have already taken in 60 days and
(b) sharing what your plan is to take impact even further.

Submit a written description with an image or YouTube video. Individual or group submissions are welcome.

Once your story is submitted, rally your colleagues, friends, family, and neighbors to get behind you and join the GOOD community in deciding which story brought the most positive change to higher-education – and to the world. • This challenge is open for submissions from February 11th to April 11th, 2012. Submissions sent outside of this time frame will not be approved.
• ONLY 2012 Exchange participants are allowed to submit their stories of impact.
• Submitted stories should include a photo or a link to a YouTube video (no longer than 5 minutes).
• Your story will be featured on this page and public voting will be open from April 11th to April 19th.
• The story with the most votes will get 1 ticket to the Exchange 2013.
• Ashoka U will also give 2 more tickets to entries with the most potential for impact.
• For these two awards (beyond the people’s choice), Ashoka U will take into account innovation, impact, and likelihood of follow through in selecting the winners.
• There is no cash prize. $1,500 is the total value of the three tickets.
• Ashoka U reserves the right to remove or withhold posting stories that are offensive, inappropriate, or in opposition to the values of the Ashoka U community.
